Spud Harvest Break

One great thing about southeast Idaho is that our kids get a week long break from school in early October for "Spud Harvest."  It is a perfect time to take vacations.  

In February of this year, we took advantage of the "Give a day, get a Disney day" promotion from Disney and got free one-day vouchers for ourselves by making blankets for a local hospital.  

We stopped to see friends in Las Vegas and visited the Bellagio horticulture display with these fabulous pumpkins.
